Remember a loved one

Giving in memory of someone is a special way to remember and honour your loved one, say thank you, and support future patients.

There are several ways that you can remember a loved one:

  • Collections at a funeral or special event – many people choose to request donations at a funeral or memorial service in lieu of flowers. We are deeply grateful for these very special donations. Your funeral director will usually arrange the collection on your behalf and our details are Torbay and South Devon NHS Charity, registered charity 1052232.
  • Donate in memory – you can make a donation or set up a regular gift in memory of a loved one using our online form.
  • Set up a Much Loved online tribute page – a tribute fund is a wonderful way to remember someone special. It’s a space for friends and family to share memories and photos as well as make a donation in their memory. Create your MuchLoved page.
  • Organise an event or fundraising activity in memory of your loved one – we can support you with this and provide advice, support and fundraising materials. Please do get in touch.

We know that the loss of a loved one can be very difficult and we appreciate you considering supporting our charity at such a time. We recognise that everyone grieves differently and whether you want to do something to remember a loved one immediately, or many years later, we are here to help and support.

Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time. The NHS provides bereavement advice which you may find useful.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss how we can support you, please call us on 07557 481459 or email tsdft.charity@nhs.net
